If you spend much time in your garage, it is a good idea to insulate it. If the interior is unfinished with the wall studs showing, roll insulation will be the easiest way to go. Buy roll insulation with paper faced and put the paper side towards the interior. Then cover with paneling or drywall, depending on your local building codes. And don't forget to insulate the garage door.

There are two different types of insulation for blowing. the cheapest kind to use is the cellulose type blow in. The other type is fiberglass blow in insulation. There are advantages to each kind. The cellulose blow in is dirtier to work with and real dust when blowing. The advantage to this type is the coler it gets, the better it is suppose to work. The fiberglass type is a lot cleaner to blow in.
